Fuji X100S Silent Mode!

OK,

i keep hearing about these claims that x100s made the quietest shutter sound of all... Yea, the shutter sounded a bit quieter than a traditional SLR, it sounded like "chit" rather than "Clack!".... But i keep ON hearing these claims that it made almost no sound at all.... like NADA.... like probably none.... i mean really? is it really that quiet?.... i mean, Yea... it made "chit" sound but i can still hear it.... it still audible...it still made sound... . so i thought these photogs felt that the "chit" sound is the quietest shutter sound ever.... so i just let it go... yea its quiet ("with a dumb face" "i can still hear it!").

And then i saw the video from Fujifilm, i posted in my blog post before, its Zack Arias.... he also claimed that the x100s made no sound at all! or was it David Hobby of the strobist made the claim? i think them both claimed it made no sound at all..... i mean, these guys are ridiculously exaggerating.... that "chit" sound, is audible... i think people 2meters from me can hear it..... its not DEAD quiet.... so it intrigues me......

and then i remember back then when i first got the X100S, when i just scroll/glanced the Manual.... and i remember i saw "Silent Mode"..... and then it clicked me, clicked my brain....hmmmmm.... maybe they meant this... .... so i gave it a try.... put it in Silent Mode and YADAAA!!

Woweee! it is DEAD quiet! it really made NO sound at all. i mean like NADA! Except for the sound of your lens trying to focus but other than that.... the shutter really made no sound. its like you're standing there with your x100s and taking picture of someone and they just posed like forever waiting for the shutter sound.........(waiting)

Yea, i got like 100 pictures of yours! (OK, that is exaggerated!)

 Geeee... now i understand that its not exaggerated.... it is really really quiet no sound at all.......

Now i can be like a NINJA.... Stealthier than ever!
